Whether you’re celebrating Canada's 153rd birthday virtually or with a small group of friends, be sure to wear your best plaid and add some extra maple syrup to your pancakes.

Although this Canada Day may look different from others, there are still may ways to have fun. This includes:

  • Visiting a local park or beach to soak up some sun
  • Attending the Royal BC Museum’s virtual Penny Carnival
  • Wearing red and white
  • Decorating your bike with a Canada theme
  • Buying BBQ supplies from a local grocery store.
  • Ordering takeout from a local restaurant.
  • Stocking up on beer and wine from a Brewery, Distillery or Winery.
  • Getting festive with a Celebration Kit from The Flag Shop.
  • Snapping fun photos and tagging @saanich and @saanichparksrec to enter in a prize draw. Be sure to also use #saanich and @canadaday to enter.
  • Watching musical performances with the City of Victoria, Roll.Focus. Productions and CHEK News.
  • Attending an impressive virtual fireworks performance.
  • Happy Canada Day from The Chamber!

The Chamber will be closed Wednesday, July 1.
