Community Connections
In partnership with the Victoria Foundation, Community Connections is a direct source of volunteer opportunities that are available within our community. Opportunities vary in length and time commitments. We strive to find our members quality volunteer roles that enable them to apply their skills as young business professionals while giving back to our community.
Community Connections allows us to connect business leaders with organizations that they may not otherwise be familiar with.
Current Opportunities
The Prodigy Group is Looking for Volunteers for our Apprentice Fundraiser on October 31st
The Prodigy Group is partnering with the Victoria YW/YMCA to fundraise for the 2009 Partners with Youth Campaign.
Victoria Youth, Prodigy Group Members, and Olympic and local Athletes will be brought together in teams to compete in the first annual Prodigy Group Apprentice Fundraiser. Participants will be tasked with the challenge of creatively marketing and selling Halloween candy in Victoria's bustling downtown. Teams will be awarded prizes based leadership, creativity, and of course, the most profit earned for charity!
We are looking for volunteers to participate, to help out with the organization/planning of the event, and logistics the day of the event (October 31st) If you are interest in helping make this event a success please contact Regan McGrath at rmcgrath@kpmg.ca.
Bring out the child in yourself, and help make this a memorable Halloween for the children of the YW/YMCA partners with youth program.
