The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce is the Voice of Business for the Greater Victoria region. A part of that role is proactively lobbying government to constructively influence public policy on a variety of issues in support of a healthy free enterprise system.
The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce has advocated for the business property tax reform, a reform in local governance, the amalgamation of regional police services, a Regional Transportation Authority, the re-development of the Belleville Street Terminal, regional economic development, and a federal approach to measuring the overall tax burden on business and individuals to name a few. |
