Parties State Positions on Local Issues

The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce has re-launched its elections web pages with comments from the three major political parties and individual candidates on issues important to the community.
“There are a number of ongoing issues that are important not only to business but to our community in general. We wanted to give the three major parties the opportunity to address those local issues,” says Bruce Carter, CEO of the Greater Victoria Chamber. “We also wanted to provide a single platform for people to see what the candidates in our region believe to be the most important issues in their respective ridings.”

The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce has approximately 1550 members and is the voice of business for the Greater Victoria region. The Greater Victoria Chamber has received Accreditation with Distinction from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
