Standing up for Business

What’s important to you, is important to us.

As the largest and most influential business association in Greater Victoria, our views are sought after and respected by government business leaders and the media. The Chamber is most effective when we approach issues as a unified business community. To that end, we regularly survey and actively engage our membership to best identify and address issues that affect our community.

When members let The Chamber know of an issue affecting their businesses, we listen. We bring their issues to the forefront and - armed with facts and with a credible voice, The Chamber works to shape and make positive change.

For example, we campaigned for a 25 percent reduction in natural gas rates vs the proposed increase, as well as a 6 percent tax credit for film production in Greater Victoria. More examples here!

Together we accomplish more

Our outreach and engagement within and for the Greater Victoria business community enables The Chamber to be at the table – figuratively and at times literally – when decisions are made that affect Greater Victoria businesses operating environment.
