Keith Dagg Recognized for Lifetime Achievement

February 15, 2013 – Victoria, BC – The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for the 2013 Greater Victoria Business Awards. Keith Dagg, former partner of C-FAX 1070 and founding partner of Copeland Communications will be awarded the Governors’ Lifetime Achievement Award at the Awards Gala on April 23, 2013. Dagg helped build C-FAX 1070 from a daytime only radio station to Greater Victoria's number one news radio authority.

Dagg has volunteered his time with a number of organizations and events including the Time Colonist Island Open Golf Tournament, the Highlanders Soccer team, and the Ford Men’s World Curling Championship. He received the 2012 Life Member Award from Tourism Victoria, and is a Director on six local boards. Dagg is a member of the Victoria Curling Club and the Victoria Golf Club.

“I have lived in Victoria for 51 years and winning this award is the biggest thing that has ever happened to me in my business life. I am so happy to share this wonderful news with my family,” said Dagg. “Keith Dagg represents true entrepreneurial spirit and generosity in our community. We are pleased to recognize his achievements at an event that showcases local business leadership success stories,” said John Espley, Chair of the Chamber’s Board of Governors.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is selected by the Chamber’s Board of Governors. The other 150 award nominees were compared by a judging panel, leaving 26 finalists.
