Spun off the Victoria Film Commission in 1983 as an independent organization.
Over 1500 members, second largest Chamber in BC
Host over 100 events every year
Approximately 6700 members attended events in 2006
The Chamber meets with local MLAs and MPs every year, bringing our members’ issues to their attention
Awarded BC Chamber of the Year in 2006 - 2007
Received Canadian Chamber of Commerce Accreditation in 2005, only 3% of Chambers hold this distinction
